Pink Rose Cake

One of the first cakes I have ever sold was for a dear friend's daughter. From a Team Edward cake to a teal zebra print cake. Now she is turning 14 and asked for a more mature cake, pink with flowers. I was excited to finally use my new gumpaste flower kits and went a little nuts with white roses. It was layers of fresh strawberry and white cake filled with whipped vanilla buttercream.

Ruffle Flower Cake Pops

It was such a beautiful day today that it inspired me to make something Springy and pretty and floral. Saw cake pops similar to these online, thought I would give them a try. These are chocolate fudge with chocolate butter cream frosting, dipped in  raspberry dark chocolate. Almost too pretty to eat. :)
